In an industry-first partnership, Nurse Next Door has opened twenty-six new franchises to extend continuum of care from St. Joseph Health. Located in Southern California, St. Joseph Health, which operates multiple hospital units in the area, will be working with Nurse Next Door to provide care to clients in their homes. This will allow St. Joseph Health to increase their involvement in the community by caring for seniors who need the extra support to age in place, including those who have recently been discharged from hospital.

This agreement is anticipated to serve thousands of clients throughout the Southern California region. With this recent general manager franchise model addition, Nurse Next Door continues on its path to becoming a globally admired brand as it now has more than 130 home health care franchises across Canada and the United States.

Home Care FranchiseThe partnership meets the growing demand for trusted care for seniors and others who need assistance with personal care, exercise, healthy meal preparation, transportation or other basic needs in order to remain independent. Nurse Next Door’s various levels of care are available ranging from companionship, Alzheimer’s and dementia support, as well as skilled nursing care.

The need for home care services is skyrocketing as more than 10,000 Americans turn 65 each day, and the number of Americans over 65 will double in the next 50 years to 92 million. Significantly, AARP research shows that 90 percent of seniors want to age in their own homes.

Through St. Joseph Health and Nurse Next Door’s partnership, more seniors and people who need care will have the ability to recover at home. This will allow the care past St. Joseph Health to broaden as Nurse Next Door will be able to provide a wide variety of services to people of all ages.
