Meet Shannon Masse, a Registered Nurse of the last 12 years, ready to take on her next endeavor of Making Lives Better in Essex, Ontario! In the lead up to her launch, Shannon took a moment to share her journey to Nurse Next Door with us. Read on to get to know our newest Franchise Owner.
‍Tell us a little about your background, and what made you want to get into home care?
‍I have a lot of experience working in care. Between my time in both long term units and the Emergency Room, I have seen that there aren't enough home care companies in my area to provide that premium one on one service. My goal with owning a Nurse Next Door Franchise is to ensure that people's needs are being met in my community.
Why did you choose to start a Nurse Next Door franchise?
‍What spoke to me was the Happier Aging philosophy. I really believe that Nurse Next Door cares about their Clients and their Caregivers happiness first and foremost and I wanted to be a part of that.
‍Last but not least, what does Happier Aging mean to you?
‍Happier Aging is when you get to enjoy your life doing things that make you happy. Nurse Next Door enables clients to get the most out of life by letting them be in control of the care they receive, which means choosing if they want to stay living at home. I'm looking forward to providing my clients with the best quality care and start Making Lives Better in Essex!
