It’s one thing to grow and improve as an organization, but it’s also humbling when others start to notice. We’re proud to announce that Nurse Next Door has ranked #70 on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list for 2017.

Now in its 38th year, Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 ranks franchisors by growth, financial strength and stability, size, and brand strength. It’s a useful comparison tool for anyone who might be thinking about buying a franchise. To put things into perspective, the top three franchisors on the list this year were 7-Eleven, McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts. Nurse Next Door was ranked one of the top home care franchises–and we’re excited to share this news with you!
The last time we made the list, we ranked 326. Moving up a whopping 256 places means that we’re really making a difference as a system and as a brand.
So–how have we progressed over the last few years?
Nurse Next Door launched almost 40 new home care franchise locations in the LA area.
In February 2016, we partnered with St. Joseph Health to open 26 new franchises in southern California. We then launched an additional 13 locations in November 2016, which helped to grow our system significantly. Since we started franchising in 2007, we’ve become one of North America’s fastest growing home care franchise systems.
We’ve ramped up our brand presence.
We use video and social media to showcase what we do, and to keep spreading our message of Happier Aging online. By hiring a Videographer, we’re able to share stories through videos, and it’s really resonating with people. Over the last year, our videos have collectively driven 615,008 views – remarkably increasing our visibility.

Nurse Next Door goes beyond care to help clients get back to doing what they love. This approach to celebrating aging–along with our bold pink branding–has helped us stand out in our industry.
Our Care Services Center takes care of scheduling and support.
With a centralized system for 24/7 scheduling, intake and call support, Franchise Partners can focus on their day-to-day operations, business growth, and building community connections.
We implemented an online learning module for caregivers and employees.
With our new elearning platform, team members can get more familiar with the brand, feel supported, and have a resource at their fingertips. This allows us to retain motivated employees and sustain a pool of caregivers large enough to fit the needs of our growing business.
While we’re thrilled to be #70 on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list, there’s always room to grow and improve.
